2500 block of Rio Grande Street
On 11/20/2023 at approximately 10:15 p.m., UTPD officers responded to assist the Austin Police Department and the Austin Fire Department, after 9-1-1 was notified of a building fire located at 2529 Rio Grande St. Orange Tree Condominiums.
The fire started on the second floor of the building. UTPD and APD officers were able to fully evacuate the building with no report of injuries to civilians. No ongoing threat to the community.
