Around 5:20 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2023, UTPD officers responded to the 2000 block of Guadalupe St. after receiving a report of an aggravated robbery. The suspect (non UT-affiliated) entered the store, took an item, pointed a weapon at an employee and left the scene.
Around 7 p.m. the suspect was seen entering the store. UTPD officers immediately responded and arrested the suspect.
A BB gun matching the description of the weapon used during the aggravated robbery was also found on the suspect.
No injuries were reported. There is no ongoing threat to the community.
